What a great all-in-one projector. We have had this projector for a week and it has been used every night since we received it.

It has a excellent crisp picture in true 16X9 format.

The two ten watt speakers and 40W subwoofer in 5.1 sound is incredible for the size of the unit.

We have not used the 80" included screen, but it does just fine on a bare wall.

The remote is easy to use, the only downside is that it would have been nice if the remote came illuminated.

The projector comes with a video and audio in jack as well as an S input. It has an audio digital optical out as well as a headphone output jack. Again, it would be nice if they would have included RCA audio out jacks to connect to a non-digital amplifier.

I was impressed with the warranty Epson offers, a two-year warranty on the unit, 90 days on the bulb. Most projectors are only one year. Epson will also offer a replacement projector while yours is being serviced, and they pay for shipping. I feel they really stand behind their product.

For these reasons, I would say "Go get one". You'll enjoy it!!

Excellent preamp/headphone amplifier. Could serve as preamp in many primary systems. Detailed, extended, but smooth; extremely utilitarian which to me adds to its appeal. The secondary functions of the remote control (such as disabling output to power amp) can be a little problematic, and the numeric display must be viewed pretty much on axis to see, but overall, an excellent value that sounds great. This review written after five months of use.

Kingston SSDNow V Series 128 GB SATA 3GB/s 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive with Desktop Upgrade Kit Bundle SNV125-S2BD/128GB Review

I grabbed this SSD to replace a boring 160G 5400rpm drive that came with my Netbook (Lenovo S10) get to enjoy instant access to everything. there is no spin-up time, the concept of drive sleep no longer exists. Boot time is like 70-80% faster. The system is now completely silent, and I don't feel like I have to coddle it, because the hard drive is spinning. It adds a new freedom to computers. I didn't get the laptop bundle (Kingston SSDNow V-Series SATA2 128 GB 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive with Notebook Upgrade Kit Bundle SNV125-S2BN/128GB) because it was out of stock at the time, however that is a better deal that this, because it gives you an enclosure for the old drive. Since I already had a 2.5" enclosure, this one was OK for me.

Overall, the SSD is a great improvement over my old hard drive, The company behind the product is also good, and I highly recommend it.

Pros:
Faster that a hard drive because there is no spin-up or seek time
Uses less power (Better battery life on the notebook)
Far more durable -- (you don't have to be a careful as you must be when dealing with a spinning hard drive)

Cons:
Far more expensive than a comparable hard drive.
MLC based SSD's can wear out with constant writing. The manufacturers have special algorithms to minimize the wear of a single memory cells, so I figured that if Kingston can warrant it for 3 years, its no problem for me.

Stop pontificating and just buy a pair. Don't get the standard model go for the lundahl or cinemag there is an obvious difference in sound quality. The lundahls have slightly brighter highs and more controlled lows. Cascade are doing an amazing job banging out mic's for this price, there are a lot of comparisons to the Royers and the obvious price difference (Royers having better build quality and components). But don't be fooled by pro audio snob reviews, the build quality is very good and the sound of these microphones is of the same 'quality' as Royer AEA etc, just different, and not necessarily 'better'. With a great preamp these mic's are true, naturally warm and rounded without the harshness of most of the cheap LDC's out there in the same price range. I would happily have paid $1000 for these bad boys.
