I wasn't sure if this memory was going to play nice with my ASRock Z77 Extreme4 motherboard. AsRock has a list of tested and approved memory modules, and this one wasn't on it. I'm glad to say that the motherboard automatically detected the XMP settings just fine. CPU-Z reported a DRAM frequency of 1066Mhz, which is correct for DDR (double data rate) memory running with an effective 2133Mhz clock.

As you can probably tell from the picture, the modules are a little bit tall due to the heat spreader. As mentioned in the product description, these 1.5v are screened to have some overclocking potential.

The Corsair Vengeance memory modules are available in different colors, memory capacities, clock speeds, and different CAS timings. Be sure to carefully select between these when purchasing your modules. If you find two different colored modules and one is cheaper, be sure to double-check the specifications that are listed in the Product Features section of each page. It may have slower timings, for example.

I'm satisfied with this purchase. Not much to complain about. It was plug-and-play.
