Peachtree Audio IDAC Digital Audio Converter with iPod Dock Review

Bought this unit November, 2011 and its been 3 months now. I use a Marantz CD OSE 6000 CD player as a transport hooked to a marantz reference integrated. I have 300+ Cds ripped into Apple Lossless so when I have the iPod and playing it this way, I must confess, I am amazed by the sound. Its clear, concise, wide soundsatge and direct imaging. I have compared with the Cds and SACDs and they seem to all sound very alike. I can not tell whether I am playing a CD or iPOD because of this DAC the sound quality and musicality is top notch. I am not an audiophile but I like listening to good music and this unit made my collection of music sound even better. Build quality is great. This is also recommended by Stereophile.
