Items arrive home and have software updated to the latest version. Put Mini on camera and the other on remote flash and they work beautifully. I trigger the flash from closet, 3 rooms away thru 3-4 walls in between and it works every time. Will do some more experiments as time goes on. In the meantime, I'll order one more TT5 Flex to take advantage of $25 rebate. They seem to be expensive though but well they work that matters. BTW, I hate the pre-shipping period, take them a week to get this order going, by the time I have these in my hands it's already 2 weeks.
