Im making an update this this older review of mine. The current years is 2012 july 23.The reason why Im dropping the grade to a 3 star is because the X11 is being over taken by the competition.
Im beginning to compare my X11 to the newer Zulu2 and the A20. I tried the A20 on a few days ago and WOW
They blew the X11 out of the water. Noise cancelling takes away pretty much all of the droning sound from the A/C, and it also comes with bluetooth, the X11 doesn't even come with an option.
To DC credit, they do have one of the BEST after service i have ever used when it comes to repairs. I have heard horror stories from friends and other pilots that Bose & Zulu2 repairs can be nightmares. There rare occasion when the headsets break is not enough reason to not buy the headset; the probability is low.
overall the X11 were good in the past, but times have changed.
