I am really happy about this adapter. Build quality is exceptional. The tripod mount is removable. I have been using it primarily with my contax/zeiss 50 f1.4, 28 f2.8, 21 f3.5 lenses as well as a yashica ML 55 macro. (The Yashica ML lenses are great, and they're great value too) Its maintained a very good image quality, eliminates some fringing, and it appears to be equal to the original zeiss lens quality. The improved f stop gives beautiful out of focus zones (bokah). The result on the above lenses is 35 f1, 20 f2, and 15 f2.5. You really need a viewfinder to focus. I have an Olympus OMD EM5. Awesome. Its fun to shoot again. The kit lens hasn't gone back on.
