The stitching is sturdy, the leather is of the best quality, handles included are comfortable, and the size is perfect for all of 4 of my big college text books, large pro laptop, & a lot of other things. I chose this bag based on it's quality, size, color, & comfort & I could not have chosen a better bag as this is the best. I've owned several brands of leather messenger bags throughout my career & as a returning college student I was looking for something more mature I could carry back into the professional work force after college. This bag serves all of my needs & wants as far as looks, quality, and durability. It is very attractive & will never go out of style, nor will I ever grow out of it since it is a classic. I chose the dark brown as it looked sophisticated in the pictures. When I received the bag I was wowed at how much better it looked in person than the picture. It came to me in a box w/plastic bag inside & a canvas bag holding the messenger bag inside of that. Very well wrapped w/much attention to detail. This is by far one of my most favorite Amazon purchases ever. I almost feel as though I stole something with how little I paid for such a high quality piece. Although I had not ever planned to wear it as a backpack, the quality of the straps like the bag itself is amazing. I plan to start out using the one long messenger bag strap so I was pleased to see it had a padded leather portion. The metal accents on the bag are amazing. Do yourself a favor & order this bag if you want to be super happy with your purchase.
