This is a very solid and reliable mount. It remains accurate for hours and can be set up in 5+ minutes. For live viewing of DSO's, it is great. For imaging, it lacks because most DSO's need longer than the 30-40 seconds allotted by the Alt/AZ mount due to Earth's rotational axis. (i.e. if you want to photography Andromeda, you cannot let your pictures expose for more than 30-45 seconds since Earth rotates and the mount can't accommodate for this).If you're photographing planets (1/20 of a second per picture or AVI), this mount is perfect. It's sturdy and strong enough to support my Canon T2i at any angle.
