Its an okay Dell. However I found that the mouse touch pad is too sensitive and I can't find a way to fix it. It also over heats quickly and sometimes the screen freezes. I wouldn't buy it again.

This laptop is great. It is powerful, well made, and even has good battery life for a 17" machine. Our only complaint is in terms of value. After buying one of these ZBooks, we found that the Dell Precision has similar performance at a much lower price. With the 3200 x 1800 resolution screen, we found that employees who used to demand a 17 inch display were now begging for the higher resolution, lighter weight, and smaller package of the Dell Precision M4800.

There is nothing wrong with this machine, but give Dell a chance if you are looking for a better value and higher screen resolutions.

First impression is quality - this is really well built and will last. Good design: compact with no flashy lights or knobs. Set-up was easy and the instructions are great. The Internet radio is a real bonus and I have thousands of stations from which to choose, but the real "Wow!" is the music, which, like the radio, can be controlled by the remote, or my iPhone. (The iPhone app, by the way, is brilliant.)

My existing systems are a Livio Internet radio and a Bose system and they just do not compare for the quality of sound from Cambridge Audio's Minx Air. I have the Minx Air 100 and I can only imagine what the 200 model would be like in a large room. You have to hear it to believe it.

I could not be more pleased and I am betting my friends will soon have a Minx Air system of their own.

I have had terastation servers in my photography studios for several years now and am continually running out of space for my images. I was attracted to the 5800 for the increased capacity and since I have studios in three cities around the country, I love the replication abilities so that I never have to wait for the Internet to access an image stored off site.

Great in theory, but I have found it extremely difficult and frustrating to configure the units for replication (VIA Internet) and some of the Web access modes that they bost as integral functionality of these file servers. In reality I will most likely purchase more, but I am evaluating the marketplace for other options at the same time.
