I've had the PC for over two weeks now and it's an awesome system! There's a cool factor that has other people saying "Wow it can really do that?"

Keep in mind that this is not the stock system. I ordered mine through Ultra Computers via Amazon and this unit has been upgraded with the Intel Core-i7 3770-K Extreme CPU (not currently available from Asus), 16 GB RAM and a 256 SSD.

The system performs better than I expected. I definitely use a 5GHz WiFi connection as recommended for the Remote PC functions. The mouse isn't as bad as all the reviews say but I definitely understand why people say what they do. I have been getting along fine with the stock keyboard and mouse. I wish that they could be Bluetooth paired to the tablet. That might allow me to take the mouse and keyboard with me when I'm using the Remote PC (Windows 8) function in another room. Unfortunately, the mouse and keyboard use a mini dongle in the base unit so the keyboard and mouse must be in range of the base to use it remotely.

Overall the system is very fast, both in Android and Windows 8. The design is a unique twist for All-in-Ones. Fortunately for me, I am a Windows / Android guy so it fit the bill perfectly.

The system is not perfect but it's darn close. Asus could be better at their support site. There is very little info on all of the download utility programs and what they actually do. There are certain programs that I'm updating as they are released but there's not description as to what they do.

There are a few quirks with the remote PC. Overall it works better than I expected but I went into it with heavy skepticism. The mode switch button always launches Splashtop but Splashtop doesn't always make the connection to Windows 8 on the first try; which sort of takes away from the novelty of the button.

Overall I would recommend this system to those savvy enough to be proficient in Windows and Android.

***UPDATE***
I've had the system for over a month now and still have no regrets...ABSOLUTELY none.
I have stopped using the 5GHz WiFi and gone back to 2.4GHz. Works better for me on 2.4GHz. Yes 5GHz is faster but has a less range than 2.4GHz. For me, there wasn't any noticeable decrease in performance using Splashtop over 2.4GHz. I have a higher-end Cisco router though so perhaps that is helping.
