Have several of this unit that I use at church. They're very sturdy, they have programmable channel selection, and you can use either xlr or 1/4" cables. Never had an issue with channel noise. Built very well and sound great. The condenser sm86 mic head sounds crisp and clear. I use them for vocals and they really cut through the mix well. Like an sm58, just a little more high end boost.
