This Monitor is esthetically beautiful but unfortunately it didn't make a sound from the moment I received it. I tried it on two different Mixers and even took it to a music store to see if their experts could make it work; They couldn't and it didn't.
To be fair, I know that Samson makes great speakers and monitors and this particular speaker malfunction is an anomaly.
After working with a technician at Alto music, it was decided that I would have to return it. I hated to do it. Alto Music was fantastic to work with. A gentleman by the name of David Tonic was very helpful. Alto Music even pre-paid the freight for the return because of the defect and the Monitor weighed nearly 60lbs. I will do business with Alto music again; it wasn't their fault. I am giving this item two stars because of its size and appearance, but that's the best I can honestly rate it.
